Since law firms are as vulnerable as the businesses they represent, consideration will be
given to the risks law firms face from cyber threats (no matter the firm size) and what
should be done to mitigate those risks. This seminar will examine the landscape of data breaches and cyber threats to both law firms and the businesses they represent.
The faculty includes Rob Kleeger, attorneys and insurance experts who will explore the emerging case law and regulations in this area as well as the insurance products now available to cover these risks and the issues related to such coverage.
Included in the discussion:
• How to counsel clients to avoid problems
• What to do once a data breach is detected
• What insurance products are available to cover losses due to data breaches
• The limitations on insurance coverage
• Other practical advice
NOTE: This program is approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.4 hours of total CLE credit. Additionally, this seminar includes 2.0 hours of SUBSTANTIVE credit from the Pennsylvania CLE Board.
